DoorDash supports over 500,000 local merchants by connecting them with customers and enabling profitable growth. The Merchant Team is focused on building seamless onboarding, brand-forward representation, and long-term success for businesses of every size.
We are seeking a Merchant Strategy & Planning Leader to shape long-term vision, define near-term operating plans, and drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of DoorDash’s merchant strategy and operating roadmap
- Align senior stakeholders on priorities, investments, and resource planning
- Drive quarterly planning, performance reviews, and goal tracking
- Oversee initiatives spanning merchant acquisition, experience, and growth
- Execute high-impact, cross-functional strategic opportunities
- Ensure accountability through structured planning and execution frameworks
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or product ops
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical skills (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL)
- Ability to turn ambiguity into structured, scalable execution
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong business judgment with a balance of short-term and long-term thinking
Compensation & Equity
Base Salary Range: $170,000 – $250,000 USD
Equity grants available based on role, experience, and location.
