We are seeking a mid-level Global Mobility Manager to support the planning and execution of international mobility programs. This role focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and employee experience while ensuring smooth cross-border transitions for international assignees, transferees, cross-border workers, and non-national local hires.
Position Overview
As part of Dentsu’s People & Culture organization, this role leads day-to-day global mobility operations, partners with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures compliance with immigration, tax, and mobility policies—always with employee experience as the north star.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of international assignments and transfers
- Lead the centralized global mobility function and guide junior team members
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, People Services, and business leaders
- Coordinate with relocation vendors, immigration counsel, and tax advisors
- Ensure compliance with local and global immigration regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records
- Support development and consistent application of global mobility policies
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees navigating mobility processes
- Provide training and guidance on global mobility best practices
- Support internal communications and global mobility FAQs
- Track metrics and report on mobility activity and vendor performance
- Support compliance audits and risk assessments
- Ensure data integrity across HRIS and mobility platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or HR operations
- Strong experience managing cross-border assignments in multinational environments
- Working knowledge of U.S. immigration (H-1B, L-1, PERM)
- Proven project management and execution skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus
Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $78,000 – $126,500 (based on experience and role factors)
