A global leader in the healthcare space is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) / Chief People Officer (CPO) to join the executive team. This role will support the CEO in maturing People operations and building infrastructure to scale aggressively through both organic growth and M&A activity. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading high-growth organizations, building scalable HR infrastructure, and driving organizational performance at a global level.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the global People agenda, act as a strategic partner to the executive team, and support the organization through accelerated scale and change. This is a broad, high-impact role combining strategy with hands-on execution – perfect for a leader who enjoys building strong foundations for long-term global success.
Key Priorities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team as a trusted advisor on all people and organizational matters
- Create and deliver a global People strategy aligned with ambitious growth plans
- Strengthen People Operations infrastructure with scalable processes and governance
- Build a high-performing People team capable of supporting scale
- Lead organizational design and workforce planning across the US and EMEA
- Professionalize performance management, leadership development, and succession planning
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and reward frameworks to ensure competitiveness and fairness
- Support M&A integration planning and execution (culture, org structure, talent retention, change)
- Ensure robust compliance, risk management, and HR policy frameworks across regions
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience leading high-growth organizations and global scaling initiatives
- Experience with multi-state US operations and international expansion across EMEA
- Strong track record in building scalable HR infrastructure from a position of “good but not yet scalable”
- Experience with M&A integration and/or organizational transformation programs
- Ability to combine strategic credibility with operational excellence
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
