As a Microsoft Senior Associate at Grant Thornton, you will deliver advisory and implementation services across client organizations for the Technology Modernization Practice. From day one, you will be empowered to help clients achieve their vision while advancing your career with support from an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases
- Document business requirements, system design, and transformational goals
- Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
- Create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption
- Conduct training classes and provide post-production support
- Identify business requirements, design functional and process workflows, and support prototyping and testing
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, IT, MIS, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of related consulting experience servicing cross-industry clients
- Experience with at least 1 full life cycle Microsoft product implementation
- Industry-recognized professional certification required
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics, and reporting
- Experience with application integration and back-end data connectivity
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical documentation skills
- Ability to define current and future state business processes
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 40%)
