Job Type: Full-Time / Remote (#LI-Remote)

Location: United States (Work schedule 8am EST – 9pm EST; Overtime/Saturdays may be required)

Assurant is seeking a Customer Care Team Lead to oversee front-line support operations, ensuring exceptional service to clients and customers. The Team Lead will organize, motivate, and coordinate the workflow of Customer Care Specialists while assisting with escalated issues and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and coordinate daily workflow activities of Customer Care associates
• Serve as SME to answer procedural questions and resolve escalated issues
• Assist with inbound/outbound activity and special projects
• Recommend process improvements and efficiency gains
• Mentor team members on performance, quality, and procedures
• Oversee training and cross-training initiatives for new hires
• Ensure coordination with other departments for smooth operations

Requirements

• 3 years of customer service experience in insurance, banking, finance, mortgage lending, or related field
• 2 years of leadership experience
• High School Diploma / GED required (4-year degree preferred)
• Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, reporting)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
• Proven ability to mentor and guide team members
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.49 – $33.81 per hour (based on experience, skills, and location)
