About the Role

Meta is seeking an experienced and visionary Group Creative Director, Design to lead global brand design strategy across AR/VR products, packaging, retail, and experiential platforms. This role will shape the end-to-end consumer journey for Meta’s hardware products while leading and growing an industry-leading design organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive global brand design strategy for Meta’s AR/VR products and experiences.
• Elevate the end-to-end consumer journey across hardware, packaging, retail, and experiential touchpoints.
• Lead and inspire a world-class design team to deliver breakthrough brand systems.
• Foster innovation and creative excellence within a globally distributed design organization.
• Improve decision-making processes, performance, and quality of execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Business leadership to build holistic brand systems.
• Influence senior leadership with strong creative vision and strategic thinking.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in design, building global consumer brands.
• 10+ years of people management experience coaching and developing teams.
• Proven ability to lead with creative vision, innovation, and purpose.
• Experience driving business results in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Strong background in brand architecture and portfolio brand development.
• Experience across integrated design: product, packaging, retail, experiential, and traditional media.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal and external teams.
• Ability to recruit, mentor, and grow high-performing design talent.
• Proven experience influencing executive stakeholders, including CMOs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Online portfolio showcasing relevant design work (link required on resume).
• Experience leading brand design definition and strategy.
• Experience collaborating closely with product teams.
• Background working in data-driven environments.
• Experience with consumer electronics or consumer technology brands.
