Golden Technology is seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting the modernization of a customer-facing web application currently built in classic ASP. The initiative focuses on rebuilding the application using modern .NET technologies and migrating it to cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and refactor legacy classic ASP code
- Rebuild applications using modern .NET architecture and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams on migration and modernization strategy
- Support deployment and ensure cloud readiness
- Work within Agile teams, providing progress updates and addressing roadblocks
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with classic ASP
- Hands-on experience with modern .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web APIs)
- Experience modernizing or rewriting legacy web applications
- Understanding of security, performance, and maintainability concerns
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience supporting externally accessible applications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
