Bacio di Latte is a premier Italian gelato brand, known for crafting authentic gelato fresh in-house every day and delivering a luxurious customer experience. Founded in 2011, Bacio di Latte operates 250+ stores globally, with 18 locations across Southern California and ambitious plans to expand to 35+ stores by the end of 2026.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to lead HR operations, compliance, and benefits while supporting our growing retail workforce. This role is critical to ensuring our culture, people practices, and HR infrastructure scale in alignment with business growth and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of HRIS platforms (UKG, Rippling, Workday, Dayforce)
• Project manage data migrations and conduct ongoing audits for payroll, benefits, and compliance
• Serve as primary HR point of contact for Store General Managers
• Provide expert guidance on HR policies, labor compliance, and employee relations
• Resolve issues related to time tracking, wage & hour compliance, and internal procedures
• Manage health benefits enrollment for new hires and newly eligible full-time employees
• Lead annual Open Enrollment through HRIS lifecycle management
• Develop HR dashboards and reports to track turnover, trends, and workforce metrics
• Act as lead for Workers’ Compensation claims and Return-to-Work programs
• Coach and support Store-Level and Area Managers on HR best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR leadership experience in Food & Beverage or QSR environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local labor laws and compliance
• Proven success implementing and supporting HRIS platforms
• Extensive experience managing payroll, benefits, audits, and compliance reporting
• Hands-on experience with health benefits enrollment and Open Enrollment cycles
• Thorough experience managing Workers’ Compensation claims
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR operations and people strategy
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues professionally
